The Different Colors of Tape and the High Visibility Offered by MEDID

Medid, as a measurement specialist, offers alternative colors for the tape of its tape measures, making them highly visible due to the contrast created by the combination of different colors, moving away from the traditional but still maintaining precision and quality commitment.

We are all familiar with tape measures, typically in yellow with black numerals printed on them. On occasion, white tapes with black printing, or even blue or orange tapes for tailors, have been seen. Medid, as a measurement specialist, suggests alternative colors for the tape of its tape measures, making them highly visible due to the contrast created by the combination of different colors, departing from the traditional but still maintaining precision and quality commitment.

For example, models like the Black & White, as the name suggests, feature a white tape with black numerals. It also adds a touch of red to the tape for printing the information about the tape measure, where it should indicate:

- Length
- CE Marking
- Year of Manufacture
- Accuracy
- Notified Body (in this case, the Spanish Metrology Center)
- The identification number, which identifies the manufacturer of the tape measure

The Black & White has the particularity that, in addition to double-sided printing, the main face of the tape has a horizontal scale, whereas the opposite side has a vertical scale with enlarged numerals to facilitate measurement.

Another Medid model that deviates from the traditional yellow tape is the Triple Black, a premium-grade tape measure that is the opposite of the former: the main face of the tape is entirely black with white numerals printed on it. On the back of the tape, this situation is reversed: the tape is white, and the printing of the numerals is in black and enlarged. It is one of the top-selling tape measures with three available lengths on the market: 3m, 5m, and 8m.

The latest tape measure introduced to the market by Medid is the Black & Green, continuing with the premium and high-visibility range, combining black with green. The tape on both sides is black, printed in a very visible green in low-light situations. In this case, all the printing on the tape, including the product information details, is in green, matching the housing color.

Three standout tape measure models known for their differences in visibility, aesthetics, and ergonomics, as the widths of the tapes for each of these tape measures offer different options, but always maintaining the quality and precision characterized by Medid over these 90 years.
